We want to reassure those that have completed the RoofCERT Technical Knowledge Test that despite the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it will still possible to complete your roofing accreditation.
Government guidelines state that it is still possible for furloughed workers to engage in educational activity, so now is a great time to get involved with e-learning/online training.
Furthermore, the six compulsory health and safety courses that form part of the overall accreditation scheme can be completed online.
Please see a summary below of the several training providers offering e-learning modules for the courses outlined in the accreditation programme:
|Training Course||e-learning links|
|Working at Height|
|Asbestos Awareness (Asbestos awareness courses must be IATP or UKATA approved)|
|Basic First Aid (note: this course offers basic first aid training and by completing the course does not mean you are a qualified first aider)|
Should you wish to make your own selection (others are available) then please ensure that one of the following professional institutions have approved the content:
You can also look up your local roofing training group (see opposite) who can support your with the above training needs.
