Important COVID-19 related message for those who have completed the RoofCERT Technical Knowledge Test
We want to reassure those that have completed the RoofCERT Technical Knowledge Test that despite the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it will still possible to complete your roofing accreditation.
Government guidelines state that it is still possible for furloughed workers to engage in educational activity, so now is a great time to get involved with e-learning/online training.
Furthermore, the six compulsory health and safety courses that form part of the overall accreditation scheme can be completed online.
Please see a summary below of the several training providers offering e-learning modules for the courses outlined in the accreditation programme:
Should you wish to make your own selection (others are available) then please ensure that one of the following professional institutions have approved the content:
ROSPA—Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents
IOSH—Institution of Occupational Safety and Health
IIRSM—International institute of Risk and Safety Management
You can also look up your local roofing training group (see opposite) who can support your with the above training needs.
